Thank you very much for your detailed lecture! I really enjoy reading it and you really open my eyes and my mind wide! You are right! I see people in Asia very diverse and different. I have many Black friends, and they have some distorted perception of beauty too. They highly appreciate Snow beauty, they tell me Caucasian is epitomized for the beauty and every standard has to based on them! I'm a Vietnamese myself and my sister is brainwashed that everyday she complains that God is unfair, why she were not born white. She said that in her school mixed Asian girls are very beautiful that she has to be jealous. To my eyes she look pretty too, but she fails to understand that we could not compare "oranges to apples" right?

And the same thing happen to my cousins in Vietnam, all of them appreciate the beauty coming from other countries. Currently they are obsessed with the beauty of Koreans and Japanese. They look down on their own people that they think that Vietnamese people are ugly due to the poverty.

Thanks for your appreciaton of Japan! I doubt that you are not American, right? I live in a neighborhood of Arab-Americans, and they look so good to my eyes, but not to my sister'eyes. I realize everyone has a different taste. I have to save money to make a brief stay to Japan and Korea to open my mind! Here sometimes I am ashamed of being Asian American and feel inferior to people here! Negative stereotypes are prevalent through media medium, so I am affected not less!

I have a aunt; she is so little but is married to a Arab-French giant guy. She said he loves him so much! Mixed couples like your case is rare in this segregated world, right?
